Get to Know Ellie Hilton
If Holli is KipPow’s visionary, Ellie is the builder who makes those visions real. She has a gift for turning big ideas into tools that actually work in classrooms—and for making sure every learner, no matter their background or needs, is part of the story.
Rooted in Music, Expanded to Every Learner
Ellie began her career with a BA in Music Education, later earning an M.Ed. in Special Education. Her early years teaching were defined by creativity, flexibility, and a belief that every student had untapped strengths waiting to be seen.
That belief carried her into roles where she could impact learning at scale. Ellie has designed curriculum for InquirEd and Great Minds, facilitated professional learning with SPED Strategies, and developed courses for Tulane University. Her work with the Louisiana Department of Education and the Ouachita Parish School Board cemented her reputation as someone who can blend rigorous content with real-world accessibility.
A Builder at Heart
At KipPow, Ellie is known as the architect of the details. Where others see roadblocks, she sees opportunities to adjust, scaffold, and create solutions that fit.
Beyond the Workday
Ellie calls West Monroe, Louisiana home, where she enjoys life with her family and community. Whether she’s arranging a new piece of music, organizing a school event, or problem-solving with a teacher over coffee, she brings the same thoughtful energy she gives to KipPow.
Why She’s Here
Because she knows change in education doesn’t happen in theory—it happens in the day-to-day details of how we teach, learn, and connect. And she’s here to build the frameworks and resources that make that change possible.
