2014–2016

Ellie steps into district leadership, supporting teachers and designing curriculum rooted in real-world classrooms. Holli is shaping ELA strategy at the state level, working to scale meaningful learning experiences for all students. They don’t know it yet, but their paths are on a collision course.

2017–2019

Their worlds connect during the redesign of high school ELA curriculum. A Zoom meeting turns into a partnership—built on mutual trust, curiosity, and a shared refusal to settle for “good enough.” They begin finishing each other’s sentences and dreaming bigger.

2020–2021

The world shifts. Amid school closures and system strain, they collaborate on innovative solutions for educators and families. What starts as emergency response becomes a deeper exploration of what education could be—with equity, access, and clarity at the center.

2022–2024

Together and apart, they deepen their craft—designing curriculum, training teachers, shaping assessments, and mentoring new educators. They see up close what’s missing: tools that honor complexity, support real humans, and make learning joyful and just.

2025

KipPow is born—founded on friendship, forged in lived experience, and fueled by the belief that systems change starts with the tools we use and the way we treat each other. This isn’t just a company—it’s a call to reimagine learning with heart, clarity, and a little creative spark.
